Another Captain Phil update...

Just checked my Twitter updates and our local news station, KIRO7 had an update about Phil:

~*Report: 'Deadliest Catch' Skipper Out Of Coma
SEATTLE -- Capt. Phil Harris is out of a medically induced coma after undergoing 12 hours of surgery on Sunday night, TMZ.com reported.
The Seattle-based crab fisherman was flown to an Anchorage hospital on Friday after he suffered a stroke while the F/V Cornelia Marie was at port in St. Paul Island, Alaska.
TMZ reported that Harris woke up Tuesday.
His sons say he immediately started barking commands from his hospital bed.
Josh and Jake Harris told TMZ their dad showed good signs of improvement, including squeezing their hands. They say they are "encouraged but still very cautious."
A source close to the family said doctors put Harris in a coma Sunday to reduce brain swelling after the surgery.
The two sons released this statement through the Discovery Channel: "Josh and Jake Harris thank everyone for their heartfelt thought and prayers. 'The Deadliest Catch' community has always been more like family than just fans, and Discovery Channel joins the Harris boys in thanking everyone for their wishes of support. Captain Phil is resting comfortably and is in the care of excellent doctors and nurses. We will update everyone on his progress as best we can."*~


Also noticed that there was a second news article from the morning of the second explaining that he was put into the medically induced coma on Sunday night after undergoing 12 hours of surgery.

OMFG! This is freaky! I swear, when it rains, it pours in my life. I'm sending him good thoughts.

Hehe, sorry! Just caught that before I went to bed. KIRO7 and some of the DC and Glee stuff is sent to my phone from twitter; as soon as I saw that, I jumped over to check on things, hehe. Sometimes it pays to be a night owl, LOL.
